HomeMy WebLinkAboutNon-Discrimination Public Comment from Kathryn Tanner 4-28-14From:Kathy Tanner To:Agenda Subject:SUPPORT the Bozeman Non-Discrimination Ordinance Date:Monday, April 28, 2014 11:34:16 AM Hello folks, I write to ask you all to support the Bozeman Non-Discrimination Ordinance tonightand from this date forward! Bozeman, Montana has been my home for 26 years andin that time I have seen this community evolve from a pretty conservativeagricultural town to the diverse and thriving, multi-faceted community it istoday. We are all fortunate to call this place home, but if we are unable to pass thisordinance then I will be forced to question whether this is where I want to continueto make my home. It is the just and fair thing to do to protect all of our citizens andvisitors regardless of gender identity from any sort of discrimination.....there is nodown side to this ordinance my friends. I am surprised I even feel compelled to sendthis email. The Bozeman community is a warm and welcoming community ofindividuals and not supporting this ordinance would be an outrage and an insult tous all. Please do the right thing tonight and SUPPORT for the Bozeman non-discriminationordinance! Sincerely, Kathryn TannerP.O. Box 5064Bozeman, MT 59717-5064
