Dear Mayor and Commissioners,
When a few of us from PFLAG (Parents, Family, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) came
before you in January asking you to adopt a Non Discrimination Ordinance, we did not really
know what to expect.
I just read the Ordinance. I think it is wonderful. Sometimes people have an all or nothing
attitude and forget about compromise. I think you have done an excellent job in considering
everyone. The exemptions you have included cover every one of the opposition's
arguments.
I am sorry for any stress you have endured, but I hope you know that you have our
gratitude!! I hope one day my bisexual son returns to Bozeman. His dream, after he is
famous of course (HA), is to buy the Emerson, Wilson, etc... and start a Music Conservatory.
