Mayor Jeff Krauss
City of Bozeman
121 North Rouse Ave
Bozeman, MT 59771-1230
Mayor Krauss,
I am writing to lend our support for the Bozeman Broadband Initiative. We have learned that the City
of Bozeman will be commissioning a feasibility study, which will result in a master plan related to this
important initiative. In recognition of our support for this endeavor, Bozeman School District will
commit$10,000 towards the feasibility study.
The core purpose of our District is to provide an outstanding education that inspires and ensures high
achievement so that every student can succeed and make a difference in a rapidly changing world
community. Education in the 21 st century has created many opportunities for our students and we
want to be able to take full advantage of those opportunities. We realize that technology and
connectivity are critical to the success of our mission to prepare our students for the future. We also
know that as our population grows and the number of devices grow, access to affordable broadband
will be very important. Therefore, we are excited to partner with the City and others to support the
Bozeman Broadband Initiative.
We look forward to the completion of the master plan and hope that it will result in a positive outcome
for not only our District, but for all of Bozeman. Please let me know if you need any further
information from me in order to move forward on this project.
S' cerely,
ob Watson
