Message: Regarding Resolution 4521, is the Bozeman Sports Park an opportunity fora public/private partnership rather than the city picking up the tab for the entireproject. This seems like a larger sports complex than is needed to meet the needs ofthe local community so I'm guessing we're trying to attract regional tournaments andout-of-town dollars. If that's the case, maybe the city could buy the land and let themotels, gas stations, restaurants and other businesses that benefit directly fromsuch a facility contribute to it's construction. If the city funds all of this project, wewill have spent almost all of the $15M Trails, Open Space and Parks Bond with verylittle gain to the trails system. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
