Message: I am against the Trails,OpenSpace and Parks Bond funding for the SportsPark. The 100 acre park has been ignored and is now a weed patch and dog wastesite. Let's finish one project at a time! If this much money is allocated, then you willbe coming back for more money for other trails, and space. How about a swimmingpool, which ALL kids could enjoy. The other objection-you cannot drive or walksafely now from Harper Puckett to N. 19th because of no sidewalks or width of road.No infrastructure out here for an 80 acre park for 1000's at soccer meets. Have youever been out here at 8-8:30 and 3:10-3:40 daily! Could the residences here haveone or two days off? Why can't they use school grounds for meets? Please openFerguson, Cattail, other outlets before I will agree to any more population of anykind in this direction. Southside residents know how to stop these problems, but noone on this side has time to say NO more until roads are widened, bike lanesinstalled and sidewalks are sufficient!!! Kids have to walk in the road to get to ChiefJoseph Middle School as some of the sidewalks are not installed. This should be theCity & School responsibility!
