The city haslost a huge amount of tax dollars and may never recover them, however there's noneed to rush into such a losing deal. The real estate market is just beginning torecover. Hold the land for a few more years, continue to lease it out for farming andlet the market recover. Yes the sle will get the land back on the tax rolls, but itwon't make up for this short sale. The new Story Mill Park was just what thecommunity had in mind with the 15M bond. This proposed sports complex is not. This special interest sports group needs to be a bit more self supporting. The bondmoney would be better spent in projects like Story Mill that preserve vital riparianareas and benefit the WHOLE community. Thanks for listening
