Mayor & Commissioners,
Dories' Letter to the Editor (as attached) is "spot on." Money collected for "public parks
and recreation" such as the Story Mill Community Park Proposal, needs to go towards that
endeavor. Every penny. Not some, pieces and parts. Tell a compelling story and collect
some well deserved money, OK! Change the story after you collect the funding, not OK.
Please don’t squander the "public trust" with more outrageous spending on overlyexpensive real estate white elephants. As laudable as a soccer/lacrosse sports areana mightbe, it pales in comparison to a first rate, state of the art, well maintanted and useablepublic park for which the voters approved such funding.
