Good day,
As residents of Bozeman (since 1992), my husband and I would like to urge you tovote Yes to approve the Story Mill Community Park Proposal. We feel this is a veryimportant and worthwhile enhancement to our community for not only recreationalreasons but to support a healthy community. We live in the southside area ofBozeman between Cooper and Southside Parks and feel so fortunate to be able towalk to those parks to enjoy nature, play a game of tennis, ice skate, throw afrisbee, or just walk our dog. We feel that the Story Mill Community Park will allowresidents living by this area a similar experience but help connect children to natureeven more. Daily physical activity is so important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle,we feel this park will allow children and families a free and conveniently locatedplace to recreate and be connected to nature. Additionally, it will provide childrenand families an opportunity to connect with wildlife, participate in outdoor educationand experience wetlands. All of the citizens of Bozeman will also benefit from thetrails that will be part of the Main Street to the Mountains trail system.
