There's no question that Bozeman's going to double in size in the next 30 years -and based on living here for the last 30 years, I think it's going to double a lot fasterthan that. And our quality of life that we love so much is going to feel cramped. Weneed more park space, and this location is simply perfect.
Please approve the funding for the Story Mill Park. We need another park with wildspots and clean water. Based on what I've learned about financial partnerships, it'sa screaming deal for the city. There will be huge community support - both financialand emotional - for this precious piece of land.
The Lewis and Clark Expedition likely walked through this exact piece of land. Ithink they'd approve of preserving some of the last wild land in the City and Countyfor many generations to come.
