We write to offer enthusiastic support of the city’s purchase of Story Mill Park. Withthis vote, the Commission has the ability to make one of the single most significantdecisions affecting quality of life for our community that it has in the thirty plusyear’s we’ve lived here.
Bozemanites love spending time outdoors and yet Bozeman is short on parks withsignificant land mass.
As a resident of the Northeast side of town, i’ve walked and enjoyed the Story Millarea for decades. Literally. It would be an invaluable gift to the future of ourcommunity to keep these lands open for public use as a park. We’re so lucky thatyou even have the opportunity to make this choice.
I STRONGLY urge you to vote for your community. Vote YES on Story Mill Park.
