Both my wife and I have been following the development of the Story Mill Community
Park(Resolution 4517) since we attended a standing room only informational meeting at the
Bozeman Public Library earlier this year. When we both voted for The Trails, Open Space and Parks
Bond Fund, and we never in our wildest dreams thought such a great project like this would be
possible in Bozeman.
We recently moved from south of Bozeman to the Creekwood Subdivision which is about a mile
from the proposed park. In talking with members of our current Home Owners Association recently,
everyone we talked to was in favor of the proposed park. My wife and I attended the TOP
Committee public meeting on the project, and just listened to the positive comments of everyone
who commented.
The comments and discussion at the earlier Public meeting at the Library echoed the positive
comments made at the Planning Committee public comment meeting.
Both of us want to let you know we are looking forward to your approval of Resolution 4517 at your
March 24th meeting. It is an opportunity of a lifetime.
