The money should be shared by the needs of the community, and it is clearthat trails, especially those near and in town are used year round and serve theentire population from 0-100 years of age. A soccer/rugby complex, by contrast, isused for its purpose for only part of calendar year and serves a smaller portion ofthe community. Therefore, it should not receive the largest portion of Bond funds. Ivoted for the bond measure, but I will be very disappointed if this proposal isapproved. The organization asking for the money needs to contribute to the costs ofthe complex or scale the complex down to accommodate a smaller budget. I seevalue in the sports complex, but not enough to use such a high percentage of thebond funds.
