Dear City Commission:
I wish to voice my support of the Trust for Public Land's proposal to help the City of
Bozeman create Story Mill Community Park. This is, hands down, the most multi-benefit
park proposal I have yet seen: It offers connections to the trail system, provides park
amenities in a neighborhood underserved by recreation facilities, and offers the potential
for water quality improvements that will benefit both the City and aquatic habitat and
species.
All around, it is a winner, especially with the substantial match that is being offered.
Please fund the full TOP request of $4.5 million so the City and its many project partners
can get going on this gem!
