I urge you to fully fund the request for TOP funds to create
the Story Mill Park.
TPL has done and will continue to shepherd this project along to create a jewel of a
park that will appeal to all residents for many generations
The very large match in other funding makes this a very good investment for the residents of our
city.
The city’s investment in this new park will provide:
Play: A new park designed by and for the community to enjoy
Wildlife: A wetland sanctuary for birds and wildlif
Trails: A network of park trails and expanded Main-Street-to-the-Mountains trail
Education: An outdoor classroom for our kids
Water Quality: Restoration of the wetlands that buffer and filter waters along Bozeman Creek
and the East Gallatin River
