Development Review Term Contract

PROJECT OVERVIEW: The City of Bozeman is soliciting proposals for planning and
engineering services for the preliminary planning and engineering review for private
development applications received by the Department of Community Development.
Currently the City of Bozeman is experiencing a large upswing in private development.
The consultant selected for this term contract would be expected to provide a
completeness, preliminary review, and final review including preparation of a staff report
for development projects. The work load is dictated by the amount of applications
received, but is estimated to require eight to twenty hours per week by qualified
reviewers.
DUE DATE & TIME FOR RESPONSES: Friday, April 4, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. MDT
SUBMITTAL OF INFORMATION: Detailed information for this RFP is located at
www.bozeman.net by clicking the BID button and clicking on the RFP Development
Review Term Contract Link and at the City Engineering Office located at 20 E. Olive.
Three (3) copies of the written response to this RFP must be received at: City of
Bozeman, Office of the City Clerk, P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59771-1230 By April
4, 2014; 5:00 p.m. MDT.

CITY OF BOZEMAN’S ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY: Each entity submitting under
this notice shall include a statement wherein the submitting entity affirms in writing it will
not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status,
national origin, or because of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or
disability in fulfillment of a contract entered into for the services identified herein and
that this prohibition on discrimination shall apply to the hiring and treatment of the
submitting entity’s employees and to all subcontracts it enters into related to fulfillment
of the services identified in this RFQ.
Failure to comply with the above shall be cause for the City to deem the submittal non-
responsive.
