Hi folks,
I hope you will vote to approve the purchase and development of the Story Mill site as a
flagship city park for Bozeman. While there is certainly an argument to be made for
approving bond money for the construction of soccer/lacrosse playing fields, it seems
apparent that there’s only enough funding for one option.
If given the choice between playing fields and parkland consisting of trails, open space,
meandering streams, and wildlife habitat, I think our kids and grandchildren are more likely
to look back on a vote for Story Mill and say “wow, they got it right”.
