Bozeman City Commissioners
As a downtown business owner, life long resident of Bozeman, Bridger Bowl Association Board Member and
lover of our Bozeman Trail System, I am writing in support of funding the development of the Story Mill Park.
The partnership involved with the Trust for Public Lands is such a gift for the Bozeman community!
Research and involvement soliciting broad based input in creating the vision for this park has been exceptional.
As a tie in to trails to the M and Drinking Horse, it becomes a link to the Bridger Canyon.
Potential for this seasonal use of parking to dovetail as a park and ride stop could decrease winter traffic and
traffic in accessing recreational opportunities at our back door; just one of the many community services this plan
embodies.
the preservation of this land as a place to play, explore and learn based at the core of Bozeman's early history
would be a treasure for generations to come!
throughout McPhie Cabinetry's 36 years Scott and I have worked with both long term residents and newcomers
to the Bozeman area. Quality of life and recreational opportunities are key attractions of Bozeman. The Story Mill
Park will enhance Bozeman's economic health and financial stability.
