HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1376 Taxable Property, Year 1969 -- ----. 477 COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1376 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF CITY TAXES FOR ALL PURPOSES, GENERAL AND SPECIAL, TO BE LEVIED AND ASSESSED ON TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, STATE OF MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE, 1969. Section 1: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 84-4701, Political Code, Revised Codes I of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed on the taxable percentum. of the assessed value of the taxable property of the 6ity of Bozeman, State of Montana, as fixed and found by the Board of County Commissioners of Gallatin County, Montana, slitting as a County Board of Equalization for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a tax of 32.0 mills for General Municipal and Administra- tive purposes, which levy shall be distributed as follows: General Municipal and Administrative Purposes, (Section 84-4701, Political Code, R.C.M., 1947) (8) Executive, Police, Fire and other purposes 20.0 Mills (b) Street and Alley Purposes 12.0 Mills (Section 32-201, R.C.M., 1947) Total 32.0 Mills Section 2: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 44-301, Political Code, R.C.M., 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed on the taxable percentum. of the 8.ssessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, for the current fi8cB,1 year ending June 30, 1969, for the support and maintenance of the free public library of The City of Bozeman a special tax of 3.4 mills on each dollar of taxable percentum. of the assessed value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Library Fund and shall be disbursed as provided by Section 2.08.200 of the Bozeman Municipal Code: I Section 3: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 84-4701, Political Code, Revised Codes of Montana 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed on the taxable percentum of the assessed value of the taxable property of The City of Bozeman, }/lontana, for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, for the purpose of maintAining public pa,rks in said City a'special tax of 6.0 mills on the taxable per- centum of the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman and the money derived therefrom shall be pe.id into the park fund and shall be disbursed I'1S provided by Section 2.08.220 of the Bozeman Municipal Code; Section 4: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1912, Revised Codes of lVlontana. 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the limits of The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal yea.r ending June 30, 1969, a special tax of 1.0 :tJ~ills on the dollar of such taxable percentum of the assessed valuation for the purpose of maintaining the Disability and Pension Fund of the Fire Department Relief Association of The City of Bozeman, and said tax when so collected shall be paid into the Disability and Pension Fund of the Fire Department Relief Association of The City of Bozeman: Section 5: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1823, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed value of all property I within The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a special ta,x of 1.6 mills and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Police Reserve Fund pursuant to the provisions of Commission Resolution Ho. 451: Section 6: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9-306, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed value of all property within The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, 8. special tax of 1.4 mills and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Cemetery Fund and shall be disbursed COMfvlISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1376 478 8S provided by Section 2.16.180 of the Bozeman MunicipA.1 Code: Section 7: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1011, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed on the taxable percentum of the as:'essed value of the taxable property within The City of Bozeman, Montana for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, for the purpose of providing band concerts for the enterta,inment of the people of said City, a specia,l I tax of 0.5 mills on each dollar of the taxable percenturn of the assessed value of the taxable property of The City of Bozeman and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Band Fund of said City and shall be disbursed as provided by Section 8.04.030 of the Bozeman Municipal Code: Section 13: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 68-603, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed value of all property within The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a special tax of 1.5 mills and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Public Employees Retirement System Fund and shall be disbursed to pay the City's share of employee's retirement and a.dministrative costs to the Public Employees Retirement System. Section 9: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2269, Revised Codes of M.ontana" 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the assessed value of all the taxable property within the limits of the City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a special tax of 1.3 mills on the dollar of such assessed valuation for the purpose of maintaining A Special Improvement District Revolving Fund as provided by Chapter 235 of the Bozeman Municipal Code: Section 10: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-3S25, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the assessed va.lue of all the taxable property within the I limits of The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a special tax of 0.0 mills on the dollar of such assessed valuation for the purpose of ma.inta.ining and operating a planning board, and shall be disbursed as directed by the Conunission of The City of Bozeman: Section 11: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2232, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the assessed value of all taxp.ble property within the limits of The City of Bozeman for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a tax of 3.S mills on the dollar of such assessed valuation for the purpose of providing a Sinking Fund for the payment of interest and principal due on the outstanding General Obligation Bonds of the City of Bozema.n. Section 12: That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1-804, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the assessed value of all the tAxable property within the limits of The City of Bozeman for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, a special tax of 0.0 mills on the dollar of such assessed valuation for the purpose of ma,intaining and operating an Airport, and shall be disbursed as directed by the Commission of the City of Bozeman: Section 13: Th?t, pursuant to the provisions of Section 84-4729, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, the total levy of taxes for the current fiscal year ending June 30, 1969, by reason of foregoing determination, will e..nd shall be as follows: I ~jills General Municipal & Administrative Purposes: (a.)
