LEVYING AND ASSESSING LIGHTING DISTRICT MAINTH:NANCE AND ELECTRICAL
CURr:mNT COSTS FOR SP"F;CIAL TMPRO~MENT LIGH'T'ING DISTRICTS OF THE
CITY OF BOZFMAN, PURSTIANrr TO
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 11-2252,
R.C.M., 1947.
BE IT RESOLVE~ BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CIT{ OF BOZEMAN.

of Section 11-2252, R.C.M., 1947, and upon estimates
of such cost made by said City
Commission as authorized and directed by said Section 11-2252, R.C.M.,
1947, to
defray the cost of maintaining lighting systems and for electrical current in the
several Special Improvem8nt Lighting Districts of the Clty of Bozeman hereinafter
specified, there is hereby levied and assessed against the property and the several
10 ts, pieces and parcels thereof within
the boundaries of Special Improvemen t
lighting District No's. 284,288, 289, 290, 295,
300, 361, 362,
388, 400, 420, 423,
453, 459, 460, 461, 462 , 480,
and 484 of the City of Bozeman respectively, as here-
tofore created and established, the total amounts as
to each en tire d is tric t and the
several amourtts as to e a chI 0 t, piece,
or parcel of land within the boundaries of such
j is tr i c t, as se t forth in the several schedules a ttached here to and made a part here-
of and marked separately for identification as Schedule One
thru Schedule Seven teen.
The amount so levied and assessed is 75% of such estimated cost for each and all
of said Districts except for S.I.L.D.'s. No. 361 and 362, and as to S.I.L.D. NO's.
361 and 362, the levy and assessment is 50% of such estimated cost.

See tion 2: That a particular description of each lot,
piece or parcel of land
with the name of the owner thereof, and
the sum assessed and levied against such
property and owner, or either, is set forth in the
schedule of each district as
specified and identified in Section one of this Resolution, and made a part of this
Resol1Jtion as aforesaid.
See tion 3: That the regular meeting of the Commission of the City of Bozeman
to be held on the 31st day of July, 1968,
at 1:00 o'clock p.m. at the Commission
Chamber, City Hall Building, in
the City of Bozeman, be, an d the
same is hereby
designated as the time and place at which objections
to the final adoption of this
Resolu tion will be heard ann consider ed by said Commission.
See tion 4: That the Clerk of the City Commission be, and she is hereby ordered
and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle,
a daily newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in said City of Bozeman, a notice signed by said
Clerk as such, which notice shall state that this resolution levying
and assessing
the several amounts set forth in the
schedules attached hereto and made a part here-
of as aforesaid and for the purposes herein stated has been provisionally passed and

adopted by the Commission of the City of Bozeman and is on file in the office of
said Clerk and subject to inspection during regular office hours,
for a period of
five days from and after the publication of such notice and at any time during
such office hours and a t or prior to the regular meeting of the City Commission
to be held on the 31st day of July, 1968,

COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1373 OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
LEVYING AND A SSESSING PORTION OF COST OF MAINTENANCE AND ELEC TRICAL
CTTR~ENT FOR SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT LIGHTING DISTRICTS OF THE CITY OF
BOZ~MAN FOR ~HB YEAR 1968.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, tha tat a regular mee ting of the Commis sion of The Ci ty
I of Bozeman, Montana, held on the 24th day of July 1968, Commission Resolution No. 1373
was provisionally passed and adopted. Said Resolution levies and assesses a special
assessment upon all the property in Special Improvement Lighting Districts of said
City and to defray the estimated cost of maintenance and electrical current for each
of said Districts, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2252, R.C.M., 1947. The
portion of such cost assessed is 75% as to all of said districts except district
Nots. 361 and 362 (Main Street) and as to such districts the portion of the cost
asses-
sed is 50%,.
That said Special Improvement Districts and the Resolutions creating the same,
and the amount of the assessment are as follows:

in the office of the Clerk of the City Commission, City Hall, Bozeman, Mon tana,

subject to inspection of all persons interested for a period of five days; tha t
Wednesday the 31st day of July, 1968, at 1:00
o'clock P.M. of said day at a regular
session of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, Commission Room,
City Hall Building,
has been designated as the time and place when and where said
Commission will hear
and pass upon any ann all ob,jections tha t may be made to the final passage and

adoption of said Commission Resolution No. 1373.
Reference is made to the Commission Resolutions creating the Special Improvement
Lighting Districts above enumerated, which resolutions are on file in the office of
said Clerk subject to public inspection 4uring regular office hours.
