I hope this is not too late but I would like to voice my support of the proposed sports complex that was
on the agenda two weeks ago. Due to illness I was not able to make the meeting. I am part of theBozeman Cutthroat Rugby Club and we would be one of the local sports clubs who would have interestin using these areas. I think that for how active the Bozeman population is, it is only right that we havean area that is accessible to ALL sports. There are many areas around town and on the out skirts oftown that are wonderful for hiking, biking and natural out door enjoyment. When it comes to a fieldthat is maintained and large enough, things begin to change. As the club president I find it increasinglydifficult to provide a home match for the team for as little time as one saturday afternoon in the spring.We find that soccer teams have already locked their places on these fields and that they are notavailable. This should not have to happen in a town such as ours. We all should be able to get field useand that requires having an area where space is available for all sports who require a maintained grassyarea.
