Dear Bozeman City Commission-
My husband and I moved to the Bozeman area over 10 years ago to settle our family in a
community that provides innumerable opportunities for ourselves and our 3 children, ages 8, 10 and 13.
Over the years, we have travelled the state supporting our children in their athletic endeavors,
including their love of soccer. We have seen the facilities that other cities have been able to provide for their young community members through the support of the city and generosity of
individuals and like minded organizations. We would love to see such high quality facilities here in Bozeman which will benefit not only our athletes but our business community, and
reflect the high standards that Bozeman holds for itself.
This facility should be large enough to meet the current needs of our city and anticipate the future needs of the organized field sports programs as the city continues to grow. The
proposed Bozeman Sports Park would meet these needs and have the ability to attract statewide and regional tournaments and events that bring welcome revenue to the area.
Thank you for continued commitment to value and support trails and open space in Bozeman,
including recreational areas such as sports fields I encourage you to cast your support to fund at the greatest level possible a high quality sports park that will reflect a commitment to
our youth that will be a source of pride for our city.
