STREET AND EAST MAIN STREET.
and thereafter, after due and legal proceedings had, the Commission of The City of Bozeman did on
the 12th de,y of June, 1968, duly pass Commission Resolution No. 1369, entit.led:

THE CITY OF BOZEVUlli FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AND INSTALLING AN ASPHALTIC-
CONCRETE PAVEMENT, INTREGAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS lJ~D NECESSARY APPURTENANCES
THERETO; ALSO CONSTRUCTING STORN DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND MANHOLES, CONSTHUCTION AND

which Commission Resolution NOil. 1367 and 1369, passed as aforesaid, !'1re hereby referred to ,'1nd
made a part of this resolution for further particulars in respect to the boundaries of said
district, the character of improvement to be constructed therein, the estimated cost of said
I improvements and the method of pssessing the cost C"gainst the property within said district; and
~vHEREAS, said improvements as contemplated in said Commission Resolution Nos. 1367 and 1369
have been constructed and completed in eccordance with the terms and condHions of Commission
Resolution Nos. 1367 and 13()9, and the total cost of said improvements so constructed is the swn
of THIRTY ONE THOUSAND (:~31,OOO.OO) Dollars.
NOVJ, THEREFORE, pursu,snt to the provisions of Sections 11-2201 to 11-2273 and 11-3301, R.C .M.,
1947 and amendments thereto.
BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED BY TIm COMlvlISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOZEPUlli, STATE OF MONTM~A:
Section 1. That to defra;y the cost and expense of constructing and making the improvements
in said Special Improvement No. 488, there be, end there is hereby levied and 8ssessed pn estimated
tC'::c amounting to the sum of THIRTY ONE THOUSAND (:Bl,OOO.OO) Dollars upon all the property in
said Special Improvement District No. 488, and hereby abated, and that a particul;;tr description
of each lot ~nd pe.rcel of land with the name of the owner and the SW}! "ssessed against him or it
for such improvements and the Rmount of each pl'lrtial payment to be made and the day when the same
shall be delinquent is set forth in detail in the assessment list hereto attached, mRrked Schedule
I IrAIr, and made a part hereof; that the several sums set opposite the names of the owners and the
described lots p.nd parcels of land be, and the SRme are hereb;y respectivel;y levied and assessed
upon and against sRid described lots t:1nd parcels of lRnd to defray the cost and expense of
constructing and making the improvements within sa.id District; that the several sums so assessed
be collected from the respective owners of sRid lots and parcels of land described in sa.id

Section 2. Thd the regular session of the Commission of The City of Bozeman to be held in
the Conunission Chamber in the City Hall of said City on the 4th d8Y of September, 1965, at 1:00
0' clock p.m., t:e, and the same is hereby designa.ted a s the time pnd place at which objections to
the final adoption of this Resolution will be he.'\rd by said Commission.
Section J. That the Clerk of the Commission of The City of Bozeman be, and she is hereby
ordered and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper printed !'Jnd
published in the said Cit)~ of Bozeman, 9 notice signed by the Clerk of the Commission and sta.ting
thAt a Resolution levying and assessing a special assessment of t,axes to defray the cost and
expense of constructing and making the improvements in the said SpeciAl Improvement District No. 42;:3
is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Commission subject to inspection for a period of
five (5) d8Ys; that said Notice shall state the time and plCice at which objections will be heArd
by the Commission to the fin81 adoption of this Hesolutionj that it shall be published At least
five (5) days before the day set by the Commission for the hearing of objections And the final
adoption of this Resolution.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at B regular session of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, held
on the 28th day of August, 1968, Commission Resolution No. 1382 W8.S provisionally passed and
ad?pted; that said Commission Resolution levies and assesses a special assessment of texes upon all I
the property in Special Improvement District No. 488, in said Cit~i, to defray the cost and expense
of constructing and making the improvements within said District, to-wit:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerlines of South Church Avenue and
East Ba.bcock Street; thence southerly along the centerline of South Church Avenue a
distance of 90 feet, thence easterly, parallel to and 90 feet distant southerly from
the centerline of East Babcock Street a distance of 542 feet to a point, said point
being 90 feet distcmt easterly from the centerline of South WallAce Avenue; thence
northerly parallel to and 90 feet distant easterly from the centerline of South \.Vcllldce

Avenue a distance of 446.50 feet to the centerline of East NAin Street; thence westerly
along said centerline a distance of 180 feet; thence southerly parallel to and ,/0 feet
distant westerly from the centerline of South ~vallace Avenue a distance of 266.50 feet
to a point, SRid point being 90 feet dist~nt northerly from the centerline of Enst
Babcock Street; thence westerly pAr~llel to and 90 feet distRnt northerly from the
centerline of East Babcock Street 8. distance of 334 feet to the centerline of South

Tha.t, said Conunission Resolution Mo. 1382 is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the
Com.'Tlission, subject to inspection for a period of five (5) days by nny persons interested.
That Wednesda;y the 41:.h da;y of September, 196(1, at 1:00 0' clock p.m., of said day at the regular
session of the SC1id Commission of The City of Bozeman, at the ConunisBion Room, in the City H<"ll
Building of said City, has been designAted as the time and pl~ce where the sa.,id Commission will
hear and pass upon any a.nd all objections that may be made to the final passage and Adoption of
said Resolution No. 1382, and the levying of said assessment, and that said Resolution will be
finally passed and Adopted at said regular session.
All persons interested are referred to Conunission Resolution No. 1367, declaring it to be
the intention of the Commission to crea.te Special Improvement District No. 4i:5Q, and Conunission
Resolution No. 1369, creating Speci,gl Improvement District No. 1.88, for constructing and making
I the improvements therein.
