Dear Trails Open Space and Parks (TOP) Committee and the Bozeman City Commission,
I am writing to you in order to express my excitement regarding the proposed and much needed sportspark for our amazing city.
As the father of two sons in Bozeman, I'm glad to see them both outdoors enjoying a sport that is thefastest growing youth sport in the country and the state of Montana. Lacrosse serves as a great sportwith deep roots in sportsmanship and honor.
Playing time is difficult to accommodate all of the boys and girls teams since Bozeman Lacrossecurrently has one City of Bozeman field for nearly 300 youth players.
Bozeman needs a high quality facility that reflects the quality of our kids and community showcasing ourdesire to build infrastructure to support healthy, active youth lifestyles year round.
Our current lack of facilities also allows millions of dollars of associated revenue from hosting statewideand regional tournaments to go to other cities around Montana.
Please support this project and help provide funding to the fullest extent possible.
