We are writing to encourage your consideration of, and support for, the provision offunds for a new sports park for our community. Without a doubt, Bozemanresidents enjoy recreational opportunities and dramatically increasing numbers ofyouth have become involved in organized sports clubs in recent years. This is afantastic way to keep our kids busy and engaged in healthy, constructive activitiesthat are greatly beneficial to their development and growth.
We clearly have outgrown our current facilities and lag behind much of the rest ofour state in the development of a multi-use sports park. Not only would such afacility be a tremendous resource for recreation in our community but it would allowus to host events that would produce millions of dollars in revenue.
Please consider funding, to the greatest extent possible, the proposed sports parkfor our community.
