Our family supports the proposed sports park. We have four children ages 8-13. They all play soccer,pretty well if you will allow me to say so. They look up to the two Bozeman kids playing professionallyin Europe and constantly wish there were more practice facilities especially indoor facilities in thewinter. We are in the market for a home. Approval of the proposed sports park will affect where wepurchase because we want to be close to the fields.
Apart from personal interest there is the fact that Bozeman is missing out on the opportunity to hoststatewide and regional competitions. We can tell you from experience these events will fill up the hotelsand restaurants. Bringing hundreds of families to the City numerous times every year will more thancover the cost of building a first rate facility. Bozeman is centrally located in the state and is the logicallocation for a facility where everyone wants to compete. Frankly there is no downside. This should bean easy decision. Please support the proposed park.
