Dear TOP Committee:
A Bozeman sports park with associated soccer tournaments is in desperate need. Not just to
serve the increasing demands of our sports teams but this asset would be a valuable
economic driver for our community. Currently we cannot bid for tournaments given the
scarcity of fields. My daughter plays soccer 5-6 days a week on Bozeman fields but usually
has to travel for match play and tournaments.
There are over 1,500 kids in Blitzz alone and an investment in a modern facility is critical if
we are to promote healthy lifestyles and maintain the quality of life benefits that athletic
fields provide our community. Investing now in parks, trails and athletic fields makes sense.
Land prices have bottomed out and we need to act now to preserve our quality of life for
future generations.
