Please do not introduce or pass a non-discrimination ordinance. I personally know 2 people who
have changed their sexual orientation and behavior from homosexual to heterosexual and they each know many others. To believe them is plain respect. LGBT’s should not be specially
protected as a civil right. There have been no replicable studies that prove evidence that it is inborn like race. For example, Simon LeVay says of his study: “It’s important to stress what I
didn’t find. I did not prove that homosexuality is genetic, or find a genetic cause for being gay. I didn’t show that gay men are born that way, the most common mistake people make in
interpreting my work. Nor did I locate a gay center in the brain” (Byrd, A. Dean. “Homosexuality: The Innate-Immutability Argument Finds No Basis in Science.” Salt Lake Tribune May 27, 2001).
