Consider the motion: I move to approve the minutes of February 3rd and February
10th, 2014 as submitted.
E. Consent
1. Authorize Payment of Accounts Payable Claims (LaMeres)
2. Approve the Tschache Lane Public Access Easement for the Community
Transportation Enhancement Program (CTEP) Project (Murray)
3. Approve an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with
Tetra Tech for ongoing post-closure Ground Water Monitoring at the
Story Mill Landfill (Hixson)
4. Approve an Amendment to the Professional Service Agreement with Tetra
Tech for ongoing post-closure Soil Gas Investigation at the Story Mill
Landfill (Hixson)
5. Approve a Professional Services Agreement utilizing Trails, Open Space
and Parks funds not to exceed $10,000 with TD&H Engineering to
determine the cost of municipal infrastructure for a proposed Sports Park
project by a Trails, Open Space and Parks applicant (Graff)
6. Approve Award of Bid to Core Controls Inc. for the replacement of the
Pool Boiler at the Bogert Swimming Pool (McCarthy)
7. Approve Resolution 4508, annexing 6.2076 acres located north of Durston
Road and east of Hanson Street and authorize the finalized agreement for
the Hanson Annexation, Application A13003 (Rogers)
8. Approve Resolution 4511, amending Figure 3-1, Future Land Use Map of
the Bozeman Community Plan from Community Commercial Mixed-Use
to Residential on 6.1591 acres at 964 Longbow Lane, Application P13024
(Saunders)

9. Provisionally Adopt Ordinance 1882 approving the Hanson Zone Map
Amendment to establish an initial zoning designation of R-2 (Residential
Two-Household Medium Density District) on 6.2076 acres at 4949
Durston Road, Application Z13240 (Rogers)
10. Provisionally Adopt Ordinance 1883 to amend the zoning map from B-1
(Neighborhood Business District) to R-2 (Residential Two-Household
Medium Density District) on 6.1519 acres located at Lot 1, Block 4,
Laurel Glen Subdivision, 964 Longbow Lane, Application Z13229
(Saunders)
11. Finally Adopt Ordinance 1880 authorizing a 15-month ground lease with
Bill Tatarka for the lease of the Mandeville Farm property for the purpose
of farming (Woolard)
Consider the motion: I move to approve Consent Items E. 1-11 as submitted.
F. Public Comment - Please state your name and address in an audible tone of voice
for the record. This is the time for individuals to comment on matters falling
within the purview of the Bozeman City Commission. There will also be an
opportunity in conjunction with each agenda item for comments pertaining to that
item. Please limit your comments to three minutes.
G. Action Items
1. Resolution 4510, calling for an Election on the Question of Whether to
Conduct a Local Government Review and Establish a Local Government
Study Commission and Determination on Funding for the Study
Commission (Ulmen/Sullivan)
Consider the motion: I hereby move to approve Resolution 4510, calling for an election
on the question of conducting a review of the City of Bozeman’s government and
establishing a local government study commission consisting of five members.
AND
Consider the motion: I hereby instruct the City Manager to prepare a budget for Fiscal
Year 2015 that funds the costs of the local government study commission, should it be
approved by the voters, pursuant to a mill levy outside the City’s statutory mill levy cap
with a final determination on levying such costs to be made as part of the normal budget
process.
2. Tandem Zone Map Amendment to change the zoning of 0.27 acres from
R-3 (Residential Medium Density District) to B-2 (Community Business
District) at 601 West Villard Street, Application Z13294 (Saunders)
Consider the motion: Having reviewed and considered the application materials, public
comment, and all of the information presented, I hereby adopt the findings presented in

the staff report for application Z13294 and move to recommend approval of the Zone
Map Amendment with the identified contingencies.
3. Campus Crest Zone Map Amendment to change the zoning of 5.0 acres of
R-3 (Residential Medium Density District); 10.6 acres of R-1 (Residential
Single Household Low Density District) and 0.39 acres of R-2
(Residential Two Household Medium Density District) to R-4 (Residential
High Density District), Application Z13268 (Riley)
Consider the motion: Having reviewed and considered the application materials, public
comment, the public testimony, deliberations and vote of the Zoning Commission at the
February 4, 2014 Zoning Commission meeting and the information presented by staff, I
hereby adopt the findings presented in the staff report for application Z13268 and move
to approve the Zone Map Amendment with the identified contingencies.
4. Appointments to the Zoning Commission (Brunckhorst)
Consider the motion: I move to appoint [up to two applicants] to the Zoning
Commission.
