Commissioner - Cynthia Andrus: Motion Commissioner - I-Ho Pomeroy: 2nd Mayor - Jeff Krauss: Approve Deputy Mayor - Carson Taylor: Approve Commissioner - Chris Mehl: Approve Commissioner - Cynthia Andrus: Approve Commissioner - I-Ho Pomeroy: Approve G. 04:05:04 PM Public Comment Mayor Krauss opened public comment. 04:05:21 PM Mathew Buenrostro, Public Comment Mr. Buenrostro stated that he is representing himself and the Grace Bible Church and spoke regarding his concern of the Commission passing a non-discrimination ordinance. 04:08:20 PM Mary Vant Hull, Public Comment Ms. Vant Hull spoke regarding neighborhood protection and neighborhood values. She spoke regarding boiler plate language. 04:11:55 PM Dan Lori, Public Comment Mr. Lori spoke in support of a non- discrimination ordinance. 04:14:18 PM Dave Drummond, Public Comment Mr. Drummond stated that he sees this (a non-discrimination ordinance) as an attack. He spoke regarding Catholic Church marriage and Religious freedom. 16 Bozeman City Commission Minutes, February 10, 2014 Page 3 of 11 04:17:40 PM Susan Gianforte, Public Comment Ms. Gianforte stated that a proposed non-discrimination ordinance pits constitutions against each other and she spoke regarding court cases associated. She spoke of the PETRA Academy hiring staff. 04:21:03 PM Mathew Hume, Public Comment Mr. Hume stated that he is against a non-discrimination ordinance. He spoke regarding a survey unemployment rate for the LGBT Community. 04:23:16 PM Chris Pummel, Public Comment Ms. Pummel asked that the Commission to not pass a non-discrimination ordinance. She wondered if it would make Bozeman a safer place? She feels that by passing an Ordinance it is unconstitutional. 04:26:44 PM Paul Lenskart, Public Comment Mr. Lenskart stated that he is opposed to a non-discrimination ordinance. 04:28:07 PM Public Comment closed Mayor Krauss closed public comment. 04:29:09 PM Break Mayor Krauss declared a break to set up for the round table meeting. H. Action Items 1. 04:33:15 PM Commission Goal Setting (Kukulski)  04:33:55 PM City Manager Chris Kukulski Mr. Kukulski opened the Action Item by speaking about his story with the City of Bozeman. He spoke regarding values and what the vision is for Bozeman. Mr. Kukulski spoke regarding what his vision is including people coming to Bozeman with aspirations, Bozeman as a multi dimensional community, and that this community has heart and soul. Mr. Kukulski spoke regarding the airport and the top 10 lists that Bozeman has been listed on. He then highlighted accomplishments and what is important right now including the economy and jobs, infrastructure and facilities including the transportation system, evolving the organization, workload and time, information technology and policy development areas. 05:06:30 PM Commission discussion Mayor Krauss began the discussion by asking each Commissioner for a list of goals. Each Commissioner listed their goals including items that are ongoing and that the Commission expects to hear back on. The Commission also formed a list of new goals. During the discussion, some of the goals were combined with others and some were taken from the list. Once again, they merged some of the items and heavily discussed others.
