HomeMy WebLinkAboutWest Oak Street Intersections Public Comment from Rodger and Sylvia McCormick 2-14 City and County Commissioners
My wife and I live at 3944 W. Broadwater St. in NW Bozeman. We have lived at this
address for the last six years. During this time this area has developed as one of the
fastest in our city. We are concerned with the W. Oak St. intersections from Meagher
to New Holland Avenues. This section of road must be the most dangerous in town.
In good weather the speed and the ice conditions during the winter make that curve
a collision waiting to happen as you can see by the impressions on the concrete
abutments.
The developments of the Gallatin Park attracts many people, and the winter snow
has as many children as the hill can hold. Hyalite,Meadowlark,Heritage and Petra
schools and two churches are in this region. This many new places that children
attend deserve to have a safer route to and from home.
If private land owners had this dangerous road by their property, would it be
accented
We understand the needs around the city and county, but hope this gets to the
top of the list. Thank you for your service to the region.
