Commissioners,
I would like to bring to your attention a piece of roadway that in my opinion is dangerous. I've writtento the commision before, however, there is a new commission and mayor now, so perhaps somethingwill be done about it.
The stretch of Kagy blvd between Highland and Painted Hills Rd is owned and maintained by the city. This also has an extremely steep bank on both sides of the road (see Google link below). It is myopinion that a guardrail should be installed along this segment to prevent a car or worse, a school bus,from sliding 50 feet down to the bottom. This roadway gets very icy this time of year and I havenever seen it be sanded. Kids often sled down the hill along the road and their parents park their carsalongside making the road even narrower and more dangerous.This seems like a liability issue that is easily corrected with a rail along the side of the road. I wouldchallenge you to drive that road and look how far down it drops and think what would happen if a carwent off the road.http://goo.gl/maps/JLpb9
