Re: Montana Ballet Company's Application for an Our Town Grant
Dear Sir or Madame:
On behalf of the City of Bozeman, I am writing in support of the Montana Ballet
Company's application for an Our Town grant from the National Endowment for the
Arts (NEA). In Bozeman, Montana, the mayor is the highest ranking government
official.
The City of Bozeman is excited to support the planning and design efforts for a
facility to house the thriving Montana Ballet Company and its Academy. We believe
strongly that a flourishing arts community is a key factor in the continued growth and
strengthening of the community as a whole. The Montana Ballet Company is
involving the political leadership of the City of Bozeman, along with other
stakeholders and partners, in the planning and design process. This grant opportunity
will further our collective goals of making Bozeman a more livable community
through increased access to the arts. This is the only project being submitted by the
City of Bozeman for the Our Town grant opportunity.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at (406) 582-2341 or jkrauss@bozeman.net if
you have any questions about this letter or the City of Bozeman's role. I respectfully
request and appreciate your consideration of the Montana Ballet Company's grant
application.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey K. Krauss
Mayor
