BACKGROUND: Three terms on this Committee expired December 31, 2013. One member has reapplied. Two ongoing vacancies remain on the Committee. The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be the City Engineer; the City Finance Director; a certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment; 1 builder; 1 land developer; 2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and 2 other members as selected by the City Commission. A majority of members must be residents of the City of Bozeman. Appointments are made for two years. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission. I have over 20 years of experience with street, water and wastewater engineering.
