A IlliSOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, DECLARING IT TO BE TO THE BEST INTEREST OF THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF AND OF THE
INHABITANTS OF A TRACT OF LAND CONTIGUOUS TO THE SAID
CITY OF BOZEMAN AND HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SAID CITY OF BOZEMAN SO

AS TO INCLUDE THE SAID CONTIGUOUS TRACT WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS THEREOF.
WHERAS, there has been presented to the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
a written and verbal request petitioning the said City Commission to extend the bound-
aries of the City of Bozeman so as to include certain tracts of land with-
in the boundaries of the City of Bozeman and having presented to the City of Bozeman
proposed plats and certificates of survey of said land; and
WHEREAS. the proper legal description of said contiguous tracts located in the
county of Gallatin, state of Montana,
is as follows:
A portion of the East one half of the Northeast one quarter of Section
Twenty-four (24), Township Two (2) South, Range
Five (5) East, M.P.M..
and more particularly described as fdlows:
Beginning at the section corner common to Sections Thirteen (13) and
Twenty-four (24) of Township Two (2) South. Range
Five (5) East and
Sections Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19) of Township Two (2)
South,
Range Six (6) East; thence South 0013' West along
the range line a dis-
tance of one hundred sixty-four and ninety-seven-hundredths

exterior boundaries 79.775 acres consisting of 5.202 acres more or less of

Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railway right of way land and 74.573
acres of private land owned by Annie May Figgins, a married woman; Eugene
Graf, Jr., and Genevieve S. Graf, husband and wife; and the Montana National
Bank of Bozeman as trustee and record title holder.
WHEREAS, it will be for the best interest of the City of Bozeman and the inhab-
itantsthereof aNd of the inhabitants of the contiguous tracts hereinbefore described
I to extend the boundaries of the City of Bozeman so as to include the said contiguous
tracts hereinbefore described within the corporate limits of the said City of Bozeman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section l. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-403, Revised Codes
of Montana, 1947, it is hereby declared to be to the best interest of the City of
Bozeman and the inhabitants thereof and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tracts
hereinbefore described that the boundaries of the said City of Bozeman be extended so
as to include the contiguous tracts hereinbefore described within the boundaries and
corporate limits of the City of Bozeman, Montana.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Commission of the City of Bozeman, Monana, at a regular
session held on the 12th day of July, 1972.

THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF

of the city commission of the City of Bozeman, the said Commission duly and regularly
