the Commission of The City of Bozeman did on
the 10th day of November, 1971, duly pass Commission Resolution No.
1496, entitled:

Section 3. That the Clerk of thf2 C.ommission of The City of Bozeman be, and she is hereby
ordered and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper printed and
published in the said City of Bozeman, a notice signed by the Clerk of the Commission and stating
that a Resolution levyin~ and assessin~ a special assessm.ent of taxes to defray the cost and expense
of constructing and m8king the improvements in the said Special Improvement District No. 505 is
on file in the office of the Clerk of the Commission subject to inspection for a period of five
(5) days; that said Notice shall state the time and place at which objections \\'111 be heard by the I
Commission to the final adoption of this Resolution; that it shall be published 13t leas t five (5)
days before the day set by the Commiss ion for the hearing of objec tions and the final Nloption of
this resolution.
Provisionally passed and adopted by the Commission of The City of Bozeman at a regular session
thereof held on the 27th day of September, 1972.

and adopted: 'That said Commission Resolution levies and assesses a special i1ssessment of taxes
upon all l~he property on Special Improvement District No. 505, in scdd City, to defray the cost
and expense of constructing and making the improvements within said district to wit:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of West Babcock Street, said point
lyinG two hundred thirty (230) feet westerly of the east one quarter of
section eleven (11), Township Two (2) South, Range 5 East; said point also
being the northeast corner of Lot Ten (10) of Block One; thence southerly
a10n~ the easterly lot lines of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Block 1; Lots
9, 10, 11, 12, 13, l~, 15 and 16 of Block 2; Lots 9, 10, II, 12, 13, l~,
