Adoption of Building Codes
WHEREAS,on September-27,2002,the Department of Labor and Industry,Building Codes
Bureau,adopted the International Building Code(IBC)and the International Residential Code(IRC),,
and,
WHEREAS,the City of Bozeman,in orderto-avoid potential decertification,has determined
that it should also adopt the International Building Code (IBC) and the International Residential
Code (IRC),
NOW, THEREFORE, effective immediately, the City of Bozeman hereby adopts the
International Building Code(IBC)and the International Residential Code(IRC), In addition to the
adoption of the foregoing build ng codes, and in accordance with §24.310.134 ARM, the City of
Bozeman also adopts the provisions of Appendix Chapter B (Board of Appeals).
