I've commuted by bike both in Bozeman and in Minneapolis for the past several years and get around town primarily by bicycle. I'm interested in encouraging more Bozemanites to ride their bikes around town, especially for those shorter trips. I think the bicycle is a fantastic way to experience Bozeman and envision a future of healthier residents, less pollution, lower dependence on fossil fuels, and more economical transportation. Also, I believe that a bicycle friendly city is great for small businesses, especially in a town like Bozeman with our terrific Main St. corridor.
