Due to several factors, including the variety of fuel types coming onto the market, the
increasing need for reliable vehicle and equipment repair services, the need to assure that
accessory installation does not complicate subsequent maintenance procedures, and because an
opportunity exists to obtain some useful efficiencies in the purchase and repair of a more
standardized vehicle and equipment fleet, including the potential of various departments sharing
vehicles or equipment, the following order is made effective as of this date.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the purchase or repair of any vehicle or piece of
equipment that is powered by an internal combustion engine or any piece of equipment or vehicle
that is mobile or anything that will be attached to a mobile vehicle or piece of equipment shall be
coordinated through the City of Bozeman Vehicle Maintenance Shop.
