ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2007 - 05
On February 27,2007, I issued Administrative Order 2007-02 which extended the City of
Bozeman's Goodwill Policy for wastewater backups to the occupants or property owners of the
homes that experienced damage as a result of the recent water main break occurring on Friday,
February 16, 2007 in and around South 15th and Babcock Street.
This administrative order was necessary to provide immediate financially assistance to
property owners and tenants that had damage from this water main break. The City Commissioners
support this extension until such time as a formal amendment to the Goodwill Policy is considered
by the Commission.
The Goodwill Policy limits payments to $2,000 per unit, per incident. Due to the severity of
this water main break, the Goodwill Policy limits need to be raised for this incident to provide
additional financial assistance.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the City of Bozeman's Goodwill Policy payment limit of
$2,000 per unit, per incident is extended to those affected by the recent water main break
occurring on Friday, February 16, 2007 to $5,000 per unit.
