Code: 2006 International Existini! Buildini! Code: 2006 International Mechanical
Code: 2006 International Fuel Gas Code: 2006 Uniform Plumbini! Code: 2004
Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators: 2004 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
WHEREAS, on January 26,2007 the State of Montana, Department of Labor and
Industry, has adopted NEW RULE (24.301.402) exactly as proposed, which adopts, with
modifications, the following codes: 2006 International Building Code; 2006 International
Residential Code; 2006 International Existing Building Code; 2006 International
Mechanical Code; 2006 International Fuel Gas Code; 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code;
2004 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators; 2004 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code;
and
WHEREAS, on January 26,2007 the State of Montana, Department of Labor and
Industry repealed the prior editions of the detailed codes and portions of the detailed
codes which directly apply to its jurisdiction.
NOW, THEREFORE, in conformance with the Notice from the State of Montana,
Department of Labor and Industry and Bozeman Municipal Code Section 15.01.010 the
City of Bozeman hereby adopts those portions of the 2006 International Building Code;
2006 International Residential Code; 2006 International Existing Building Code; 2006
International Mechanical Code; 2006 international fuel Gas Code; 2006 Uniform
Plumbing Code; 2004 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators; and 2004 Boiler and
Pressure Vessel Code which were adopted by the State of Montana, Department of Labor
and Industry on January 26, 2007 and which apply to the City of Bozeman jurisdictional
area.
