Adoption of Electric Codes
WHEREAS, on December 27, 2002, the Department of Labor and Industry, Building
Codes Bureau, adopted the 2002 National Electric Code:
WHEREAS, on December 27, 2002, t1.~e Department of Labor and industry, Building
Codes Bureau repealed the 1997 edition of the Unifoi7n Housing Code and the 1997 edition of
the Uniform Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman in order to avoid potential decertification, has
determined it should also adopt the 2002 National Electric Codes and repeal the ] 997 edition of
the Uniform Housing Code and the ] 997 edition of the Uniform Abatemcnt of Dangerous
Buildings Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, effective immediately, the City of Bozeman hereby adapts the
2002 National Electric Code and repeals the 1997 edition of the Uniform Housing Code and the
1997 edition of the Uniform Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code.
