Appointment of Acting City Manager and
Designation of Succeeding Authority
Whenever I am out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than twenty-four (24) consecutive
hours, or in case of an emergency and I can not be reached, I hereby appoint Ron Brey, Assistant City
Manager, as Acting City Manager to act in my stead during my absence.
Whenever I, and Assistant City Manager Ron Brey, are out of Gallatin County, Montana for
more than twenty-four (24) consecutive hours or in the case of an emergency and neither of us can
be reached, I hereby appoint Paul J. Luwe, Bozeman City Attorney, as Acting City Manager to act
in my stead during my and Ron Brey's absence.
Whenever I, Assistant City Manager Ron Brey and Bozeman City Attorney Paul J. Luwe, are
out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than twenty-four (24) consecutive hours, or in the case
of an emergency and none of us can be reached, I hereby appoint Miral D. Gamradt, Bozeman
Finance Director, as Acting City Manager to act in my stead during my, on Brey's and Paul J. Luwe's
absence.
Whenever I, Assistant City Manager Ron Brey, Bozeman City Attorney Paul J. Luwe and
Bozeman Finance Director Miral D. Gamradt, are out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than
twenty-four (24) consecutive hours or in the case of an emergency and none of us can be reached,
I hereby appoint Debra H. Arkell, Director of Public Service, as Acting City Manager to act in my
stead during my, Ron Brey's, Paul J. Luwe's and Miral D. Gamradt's absence.
My previous Administrative Order No. 1999-02 entitled "Appointment of Acting City
Manager and Designation of Succeeding Authority" is hereby revoked. This Administrative Order,
No. 2000-02, is effective immediately and shall remain in effect until revoked in writing by me.
