SUBJECT: Authorize the City Manager to sign a Trail Easement with Map Brewing Company.

AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign a Trail Easement with Map Brewing
Company.
BACKGROUND: The Map Brewing Company property immediately adjoins the western edge of the
East Gallatin Recreation Area (EGRA) off of Manley Road. There is an existing public trail that circumnavigates the EGRA lake and a portion of the existing trail is constructed upon the Map Brewing
Company property. The attached trail easement provides legal and perpetual public access where the trail
encroaches upon the Map Brewing property. The easement is provided to satisfy a condition of final site plan approval. Engineering staff has reviewed the easement and finds it acceptable.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission. FISCAL EFFECTS: None
