SUBJECT: Municipal Code amendment application Z-13164 amending Article 38.11
Urban Mixed Use Zoning District to be opened and continued.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Commission open and continue the item to allow the Zoning Commission time to provide its required report. RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to open and continue application Z-13164 to October
28, 2013.
BACKGROUND:
Application Type: Municipal code amendment.
History: This application was received on July 3, 2013. Revised application materials modifying
the proposed amendments were received on September 16, 2013. The Zoning Commission
has not had adequate time to consider the revised application materials. They will meet to consider the application on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. A public hearing by the City Commission has previously been advertised for Monday, October 7, 2013.
After consulting with the Clerk on upcoming agendas for the City Commission it is
recommended that the hearing be opened and continued to October 28, 2013.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
