SUBJECT: Authorize the City Manager to sign a Water Pipeline and Access Easement and Agreement with Marvin R. Cowdrey for the Country Inn & Suites project.

and Agreement with Marvin R. Cowdrey for the Country Inn & Suites project.
BACKGROUND: The platted water line easement on Tract 2 of Minor Subdivision 358B provided
inadequate separation between the constructed water line location and the easement boundary. The lot is currently approved for construction of a new hotel, the Country Inn & Suites. The attached water pipeline
easement provides the required 15’ of separation between the existing main and easement per city
standards, and also includes additional easement area for construction of a new on-site fire hydrant.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
