Bozeman City Attorney Codification Order 2013-01
Pursuant to the authority of the Bozeman City Attorney under See. 1.01.180 of the Bozeman
Municipal Code (BMC)', I hereby order a correction to a clerical error in See. 38.28,060 BMC.
The following correction as shown below shall be made to Sec. 38.28.060.A1, BMC and shall be
incorporated into the Bozeman Municipal Code so that such section shall read:
"Sec. 38,28.060.A1 - Signs permitted upon the issuance of a sign permit.
A. The following on-premises signs are permitted in the indicated zones subject to a sign pen-nit:
1. Commercial, manufacturing, and public land zones (B-2, B-3, UMU, M-1, M-2, BP, PLI,
HMU, REMU[mixed-use, nonresidential]). A lot in a B-2 district is permitted total signage not
to exceed 400 square feet. The maximum allowable total signage in the other districts listed
herein shall not exceed 250 square feet per lot. A comprehensive sign plan is required for all
commercial centers consisting of two or more tenant spaces on a lot and shall be designed in
accordance with section 38.28.47-0-080."
The remainder of 38.28.060, BMC, shall not be altered by this order.
This order shall be placed on the Municipal Code Corporation's website serving the Bozeman
Municipal Code under new legislation until the next supplement. In addition, the City Clerk shall
keep this order i the numerically ordered file named "City Attorney Codification Orders."
