(Ellie), landscaping “city” trail at end of North Church by property owners west of their property (Charlotte), Ciderhouse property on south Wallace (Ellie – if done?), North Wallace

Terry suggests a possible “Lifetime Achievement Award”
for GVLT (maybe Gary Bodehol others?) and give an update/presentation at award ceremony on upcoming projects
Adopt-a-park Program & Subcommittee Update:
Terry gives update: getting
off the ground slowly. No real “list” of city parks has been created and she is concerned about this. Allyson mentions that a “Parks and recreation Manager” to begin taking care of
some of the logistics.
Terry is also going to remind Robert and BBAB Board of the next meeting which is now set for Monday Sept. 16 at planning offices.
From the list that is a work-in-progress, the group
did identify a handful of parks they would like to use as examples and as resources to begin to identify the program parameters.
First goal is to recognize current groups that have “adopted”
parks but have not been recognized before.
Then, the next step would be to identify other parks that can be adopted and what the criteria are and how to create contracts with adopted
groups.
