SUBJECT: Approve cancelling the Regular City Commission meeting on Monday,
September 16, 2013 and conduct a regular meeting on Monday, September 30, 2013

RECOMMENDATION: This item formalizes the decision by the City Commission to cancel the regular Commission Meeting on Monday, September 16, 2013 and instead hold a regular meeting on Monday, September 30 which according to the Commission Rules of Procedure is
not a regular meeting day because it is a fifth Monday of a month.
BACKGROUND: Historically, the City Commission meets on Monday evenings at 6 p.m., except when a fifth Monday occurs in a month.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: Do not cancel the meeting.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None
