CITY OF BOZEMAN AND HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED TO EXTEND THE

GUOUS TRACTS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS THEREOF.
WHE REAS , there has been presented to the City Commission of the City of Bozeman a written and

verbal request petitioning the said City Commission to extend the boundaries of the City of Bozeman
so as to include certain continguous tracts of land within the boundaries of the City of Bazeman
and having presented to' the City of Bazeman proposed plats and certificates of survey of said land;
and,
WHEREAS, the proper legal description of said contiguous tracts located in the county of Gallatin,
state of Montana, is as follows;
Beginning at the center of Sectian Six (6), Township TwO' (2) South, Range
Six (6) East, M.P .M., said point being the true point af beginning;
thence
north 88042' East along the sauth line of the Northeast Quarter (NEt) of
said Section Six (6) a distance of 1,152 feet more or less to' a point on
the west right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern Railroad Story Mill
Spur; thence northeasterly along the said Story Mill Spur's west right-
of-way line to the point of intersection with the west right-of-way line
of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific Railroad Menard Branch;
thence northerly along said C.M. St.P. & P. west right-of-way line to ,
the paint of intersection with the North Right-of-way line Bridger
Drive (F .A .S. No. 293), said point being 135.1 feet westerly
and 320.04
feet southerly of the East one sixteenth corner of the southeast quarter
of Section Thirty-one (31), Township One (1) South, Range Six (6)
East;
thence along the northerly right-of-way line of said Bridger Drive South
89055'00" West a distance of 691.2 feet to a point on the north right-
of-way at P.T. Sta. 45 + 25.5 of F.A.S. 293, Bridger Drive,
thence
continuing along said North right-of-way along a curve to the left through
a central angle of 39005' a distance of 808.9 feet to a point on the
northerly right-of-way at P.C. Sta. 37 + 43.8 of F.A.S.
293; thence
continuing along said northerly right-af-way bearing South 50050'00"

east corner of Bloc 2, Bridger Center Subdivision; thence north 0045'00"

West a distance of 719.32 feet to a point on the North line of the South
half of the southeast quarter of said Section Thirty-one (31) ,

being 1,786,80 feet westerly of the east one-sixteenth corner of the
southeast one-quarter of said Section Thirty-one (31) ;

road mainline a distance of 2,466.17 feet to the west right-of-way line
of North Rouse Avenue; thence South along said West R/W line of North
Rouse Avenue a distance of 703.70 feet; thence Narth 88042' East a dist-
ance af thirty feet. to the point of beginning.
Containing within the above described exterior boundaries 260 acres, more
ar less, to be known and designated as the Nartheast Annexation to the
City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana.
WHEREAS, it will be for the best interests of the City of Bozeman and the inhabitants thereof
and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tracts hereinbefore described to extend the boundaries of
the City of Bazeman so as to include the said cantinguous tracts hereinbefare described within the
corporate limits of the said city af Bazeman.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN;
Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-403, Revised Codes of Mantana,
1947,
it is hereby declared to' be to the best interests of the City of Bozeman and the inhabitants there-
of and of the inhabitants of the continguous tracts hereinbefore described that the boundaries of the
said City of Bozeman be extended so as to include the continguaus tracts hereinbefore described
within the baundaries and carparate limits af the City of Bazeman, Montana.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular session
thereof held on the 21st day of January, 1976.

NOTICE IN RE
COMMISSION ~SOL~TION NO. 1777 OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, STATING THE
INTENTION OF T~CITY COMMISSION TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY OF
- BOZEMAN TO EMBRACE AND INCLUDE A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND ADJOINING SAID CITY.
I NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on the 21st day of January, 1976, at a regular meeting of the
City Commission of the City of Bozeman, the said City Commission duly and regularly passed and
adopted Commission Resolut~on No. 1777, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, DECLARING IT
TO BE TO THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF
AND OF THE INHABITANTS OR A TRACT OF LAND CONTINGUOUS TO THE SAID CITY OF
BOZEMAN AND HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
SAID CITY OF BOZEMAN SO AS TO INCLUDE THE SAID CONTINGUOUS TRACT WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS THEREOF.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN, that Wednesday, the 25th day of February 1976, at 1:15 o'clock
p.m., at the Commission room of the City Hall, Bozeman, Montana, is designated as the time and place
for hearing objections to the action proposed to be taken in said Resolution No. 1777, whereby it is
proposed to embrace the hereinafter described contingent territories within the corporation limits
of the City of Bozeman, Montana. Expressions of approval or disapproval by resident freeholders of
the territories proposed to be embraced must be made in writing and filed with the Clerk of the City
Commission of the City of Bozeman not later than 20 days after the date of the first publication
of this notice.
A description of the boundaries of the tenitories proposed to be embraced by said Commission
Resolution No. 1777 is as follows:
Beginning at the center of Section Six (6), Township Two (2) South, Range Six
(6) East, M.P.M., said point being the true point of beginning; thence North
88042' East along the south line of the Northeast Quarter (NE~) of said section
Six (6) a distance of 1,152 feet more or less to a point on the west right-of-
