Dear Homeowner:
Thank you for your cooperation with the City's recent efforts to sample indoor air in and around your
home and neighborhood. Our initial efforts to test indoor air samples throughout your neighborhood are
coming to a close and the City and our team of consultants would like to meet with neighborhood
residents and property owners to discuss the plans (including timing) for future sampling and mitigation
efforts. We would like to share that information with you at a public meeting scheduled for August 27,
2013 at 6:00 pm at the Bozeman Holiday Inn at 5 East Baxter Lane.
At that meeting we will provide an overview and explanation of the sampling methods and results,
outline the next steps for additional sampling, and describe potential mitigation measures. Our
consultants from Tetra Tech, as well as members of the City Commission and City staff and the
Department of Environmental Quality, will be available to describe the action plan, answer questions
and address concerns.
Thank you for your patience as we work to understand the site and the issues facing your neighborhood.
This situation remains the City's highest priority. Please be assured that we are working as quickly and
deliberately as possible to collect data and develop solutions to mitigate any impacts on you and your
family.
